What our clients are saying about us.
“I first worked with Brian about two years ago. I am a board member of the National Association of Children’s Behavioral Health and we had recently hired a management firm to handle all of our support functions- finances, conference planning, etc. Brian was facilitating a strategic planning session with the board and the new firm. He was skilled, professional, knowledgeable and effective. I have done quite a lot of organizational development work in my career, and I found Brian to be a top-notch facilitator. He clearly had a plan and a process in mind, but was also flexible in responding to the needs of the group. Most importantly, the final product focused on very specific tasks, timelines and deliverables that provided a great blueprint for our ongoing work.Based on that experience, I engaged Brian to work with Northwood to develop a succession plan for my stepping down from my role as CEO of Northwood. Brain did structured interviews with executive staff and the board, and developed a comprehensive list of traits and characteristics the next CEO should possess. Again, the product he produced was very clear and functional, and provided very useful guidance for moving forward. I recommend Brian without hesitation. He is knowledgeable, personable and effective.”
““I have had the privilege of working closely with Brian Riggs and his team at Riggs Enterprise for many years in a variety of capacities. His innovative, fresh thinking and stellar communication skills makes him a true asset to any association. As the Executive Director of the Food Industry Association Executives (FIAE), he served as keynote speaker at the annual meeting, and received rave reviews. When I took over management of the Council of State Retail Associations (CSRA) in January, 2019, I immediately called on Brian to conduct a much-needed Strategic Plan. The CSRA Board of Directors were extremely complimentary about the process, the dialogue, and the recommendations. His work with CSRA in that capacity drove the Board to welcome Brian to its Annual Meeting to present the findings of the Strategic Plan, as well as provide an additional keynote presentation. Again, his presentation and remarks were well received. The newest CSRA initiative – NAVIGATE – was completely conceived and orchestrated by The Riggs Team. With the onset of COVID-19 and the need to pivot from the in person annual meeting, Brian established a virtual learning program that provides regular educational and networking opportunities for the CSRA members. They have been professionally produced and promoted, moderated by Brian, and added to an on going library of resources. The look of the promotions and solicitation materials is innovative and professional. He created the catchy NAVIGATE theme/logo. His team has totally revamped a tired CSRA website into one that is engaging and navigable. He has generated ideas for speakers/content as well as new ideas for continuation of the programming that acknowledges the time constraints and “zoom” fatigue our members are experiencing. Of note, every time Brian participates on a CSRA Board or NAVIGATE meeting, the members are excited and challenged by his ideas and thinking. He has certainly won over the leadership and staff, and is an important addition to the CSRA team. He truly wants our association to succeed.””
“Brian, of the moderators we have had for SOAP’s strategy and governance sessions in the last few years, you are the most deliberate and thoughtful. Thank you so much!”
“This was well organized. Brian had excellent insight and knows exactly what direction we need to go in as a society. I hope that the BoD is listening and takes all of his advice seriously. The next 1-2 yrs is super important for us.”
“Some of the conversation during yesterday’s board meeting and seeing the notes from the membership meeting remind me of how far we’ve come - things are starting to feel different (better) than when we started this journey a couple of years ago. A lot of that is thanks to you and your team Brian. I hope you’re feeling proud! And I hope things are going well.”
“Thank you for the excellent job facilitating the discussion. I think the Board, staff, and members all benefit from an organized way of sharing ideas, and you nailed it. Looking forward to the outcome!”
“Thank you for your outstanding guidance and knowledge. Every member of the board commented that your insights and expertise were much needed and appreciated. I look forward to continuing to work with you. After the board meeting ended, Brad and I had 2 great days on HHI.”
“It was fun to have you lead the process for us and being just as cool to enjoy a beer and the home run derby with. I learned a lot and paths seem to cross when you least expect it.”
